– See e-learning guru Elliott Masie, president of US-based learning and
technology think tank the Masie Center, at the International e-learning
Festival at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, on 8-10 July.  www.elearningfestival.com

– Sun Microsystems has extended its learning management system (LMS) with
new consulting services and content capa-bilities to create the Sun Enterprise
Learning Platform. In addition to core LMS functions, the platform offers professional
certification for Sun IT technology qualifications.  www.sun.co.uk/suned

– Web Course Builder is a new product to the UK from OP&S that allows
organisations to generate their own online training materials. It complies with
the e-learning standards Scorm and AICC and includes a built-in tutorial to
guide users through its use.

– Pearson Education has published two books on the European Computer Driving
Licence (ECDL). ECDL Advanced Spread-sheets and ECDL Advanced Word Processing
cost £12.99 and £16.99.  www.it-minds.com
