The
board of the National Health Service University (NHSU) will hold its first
meeting later today to discuss its strategic plan.
The
NHSU will play a key role in the modernisation of the health service by
unlocking the potential and skills of its existing staff.
The
board will be responsible for promoting the work of the NHSU, and its members
represent a wide range of stakeholders.
The
meeting will be open to the public and the interim chair, Barbara Stephen, said
copies of the minutes and relevant papers would be available.
