A national network has been launched to increase the number of employment
opportunities for people with mental health problems.
WorkNet, based at the headquarters of mental health charity Mind and funded
by the Department of Health, will support the development of effective
employment, education and training services for people who use mental health
services.

A telephone and e-mail help lines will provide advice and information. Over
100 groups, organisations and individuals have signed up as members and they
will be offered "diagnostic visits" to help them start or develop
employment services.
