Personnel Today was crowned HR Publication of the Year at last night’s Watson Wyatt Awards for Excellence in HR Journalism.
The awards, now in their fourth year, attracted more than 130 entries from 75 journalists working across the national, regional and HR trade press.
Personnel Today came out on top in the hotly contested publication category, beating a raft of competitors.
The judging panel was made up of top HR directors including Jill Shedden at British Gas, Mark Wells at Experian, Jane van Ammel at De La Rue, Suzy Black at Lloyds of London, Sarah Ridout at Roche, and Mark Martin at T-Mobile.
Personnel Today’s news editor, Louisa Peacock was also highly commended in the HR Journalist of the Year (professional media) category.
