PersonnelToday.com has been named Interaticve Business and Professional Magazine of the Year 2006.
The award, given by the PPA (Periodical Publishers Association), was presented last night (3 May) by Private Eye editor Ian Hislop at an awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London.
The judges praised the website for expanding its audience and said that PersonnelToday.com “stood out within its sector.”
They were impressed by the use of appropriate ‘fun’ content such as polls, discussion forums, competitions and puzzles and the magazine’s “rant line”. They also made special mention of the site’s new e-mail alerts.

Site manager Andrew Rogers said: “To receive this kind of recognition from the publishing industry is fantastic. The closeness with which the magazine and the website work together to provide content that is both compelling and interactive has put us way ahead of the competition in terms of our online popularity.”
This is the second time PersonnelToday.com has won the award, having also won it in 2004.
