Car
workers at Peugeot in Ryton, Coventry, have voted to accept the company’s new
pay offer by a 2:1 majority, the Transport and General Workers’ Union announced
today.
Unions
had been in dispute with Peugeot management following a vote to reject the
company’s original pay offer, and a subsequent vote for industrial action. A
one-day strike took place at Ryton between 13-14 February.

However,
Dave Osborne, T&G national secretary, said union members have now accepted
the company’s improved offer and the dispute at Peugeot is resolved.
