latest research shows that employers corporate magnetism, or the measure of
what makes staff stay or leave, is based on specific criteria which can be
measured.
The
factors that determine how attractive an employer is to its staff can range
from overall strategic aims, levels of teamwork and individual managers.
The
research of 539 companies by consultants fe3, identified the three most common
issues around corporate magnetism:
Employee
satisfaction isn’t enough to guarantee staff commitment. Firms must keep their
word to staff and enable them to deliver results for customers.
Organisational
attributes must be in line with the personal values of staff
The
extent to which employees feel their line managers are trustworthy and
competent accounts for up to 50 per cent of commitment
