Rolls-Royce
is to cut around 1,100 jobs at three plants.
Restructuring
at the manufacturing plants in Bristol, Derby and Hucknall, near Nottingham,
will see job losses take place over next year and into 2005.
The
company claims the cuts are necessary as the company replaces old buildings
with modern manufacturing facilities.
