National Air Traffic Services (Nats) has launched a major recruitment drive to find air traffic controllers.
The company, which operates airport control towers across the UK, aims to recruit 100 trainees, and expects the hunt to generate about 2,000 enquiries.

Successful applicants will be invited to a recruitment and selection day. The new recruits will join Nats in March to begin training.
Nats HR director Phillip James said: “Controllers are at the heart of our business, handling up to 6,000 flights a day. The student controllers will be trained to the highest standard.”
