Staff turnover expected to remain static in 2004

Expected turnover for this year has remained at a similar level as the
previous quarter for the manufacturing and service sectors.

The quarterly Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI), developed by Cranfield
School of Management and the Daily Telegraph, in association with Personnel
Today, shows that turnover is expected to fall at a slightly higher rate than
last autumn in the services sector (-2 per cent), the manufacturing sector (-7
per cent) and overall (-5 per cent).
