Supermarket
giant Tesco has launched a major recruitment campaign to find more managers in
the South of England.
The
chain is looking to hire an additional 400 senior and departmental managers
following a rise in trade over the festive period.
Tesco
has around 225,000 staff across the UK and more than 90 per cent of its current
store bosses have worked their way up from department managers, as have a
number of its current board directors.
