Thresher goes online to recruit branch managers

Under the initiative, candidates for branch manager positions at Wine Rack, Thresher and The Local apply online through a careers website.

They take an online numerical reasoning test and a customised online personality questionnaire, both provided by assessment specialist PSL.

“We used to recruit branch managers using a telephone hotline and an audition day but this was very labour-intensive and failed to produce the best suited candidates to Thresher Group,” said Claire Giannissi, recruitment manager at Thresher.
