Strike chaos could hit the London Underground (LUL) over the festive season after train drivers’ union Aslef approved four industrial action ballots.
The union said it was considering the action over four different matters across the Jubilee, District, Piccadilly and East London lines.

A spokesman for the union played down the action and told Personnel Today that the ballots were a necessary action to fulfil legal obligations on unions.
The RMT have also threatened a walkout over pay and conditions over the Christmas holiday.
