Xmas rush for staff as stores gear up for festive period

Boots
is to recruit more than 7,000 staff to cope with the Christmas rush.

The
health and beauty retailer said that of these 500 will be recruited in Scotland
and 100 in Ireland.

Boots
said the jobs, both full and part-time, will be for the Christmas period, but
many could turn into permanent positions.
