Motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson reaches union deal after two-week strike at largest US plant

Iconic motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson has reached a tentative agreement with unions after a two-week strike at its largest US plant.

 The 2,800 employees at Harley’s factory in York, Pennsylvania, were protesting against a proposed three-year pay and benefits package.

Unions said the new pay deal would create a two-tier pay system. Harley said it was concerned about rising pension and healthcare costs, and that it would offer workers a vote on the new proposals.
