We will be covering the CIPD's keynote speech on 'Next Generation HR' live from 4pm on Tuesday, 17 November.

Personnel Today's news team will be at the event in Manchester, reporting live. The session is expected to be introduced by Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) chief executive Jackie Orme, and will look at HR's purpose post-recession. A new research project 'Next Generation HR', which explores emerging HR practice, will be unveiled. 

We want your views on the project and themes discussed, as they happen. Key speakers at the event include John Wrighthouse, divisional director, HR at Nationwide Building Society; Alex Wilson, group HR director at BT and Therese Procter, HR director, retailing services at Tesco.
