Good business web sites are all about making life easier and Online Recruitment could be a godsend to HR managers struggling to keep track of proliferating on-line recruitment sites.

Onrec.com features a database of 87 recruitment sites, along with links to each one. A brief description of the sites by the companies themselves have to be taken with a pinch of salt, but they are balanced by comment from Mediatech (which compiled the database) along with pros and cons and speed and usage percentage ratings. Some of the sites have been reviewed in depth – including vital nuggets such as number of CVs on-line and applications per vacancy. The number of job sites listed will steadily increase making this eventually a hugely useful resource. Even today, its value cannot be underestimated; file mentally under “time-saver” and bookmark immediately.
