Petrofac, the international oil and gas facilities service provider, has appointed Geoff Tranfield as group head of HR
Tranfield brings 20 years of international experience from the oil and gas, utility and rail sectors. He joins Petrofac after a five-year stint with energy firm Hess Corporation, where he held the position of vice president HR.

Based at Petrofac’s London office, Tranfield said: “Working closely with each of the businesses my role is to further develop best practice and HR policies across the group for our 10,000 employees. I look forward to being part of the continued growth and development of Petrofac.”
Ayman Asfari, group chief executive, added: “With a wealth of senior oil and gas expertise, Geoff’s knowledge and experience of both UK and international markets will undoubtedly enhance our future activity in key areas, and I’m delighted to welcome him on board.”
