Wolters Kluwer acquires GEE group of companies

Wolters Kluwer Law and Business has acquired business advice publisher GEE – including online advice service Consult GEE – from Sweet & Maxwell’s parent company, the Thomson Group, for an undisclosed sum.

The GEE products and services will become part of the Croner group within Wolters Kluwer UK, a provider of business information, consultancy services and software for HR in the UK.

Catherine Wolfe, chief executive of Wolters Kluwer UK, said: “We will continue to invest in this content to meet the needs of current GEE customers, and we will also introduce these products to our existing Croner customers.”
