Outsourcing advisory firm EquaTerra has bought rival Morgan Chambers and claimed it has become the world’s largest firm in the sector.
EquaTerra has helped many leading firms – including Unilever – to outsource or offshore back-office functions such as IT and HR.
After the acquisition of Morgan Chambers, it now has about 300 employees around the world.
Chief executive Mark Toon said: “The expanded geographic reach and enhanced service offerings, combined with the tenure and expertise of our advisers, make this acquisition a positive event for our clients, employees and business partners.”
Robert Morgan, chairman and founder of Morgan Chambers, will leave the organisation.
“I am pleased to be able to hand over to such a like-minded organisation, which in turn provides me with the opportunity to invest in new ventures,” he said.
