Red Letter Days, the gift experience company owned by leading entrepreneurs Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones, has launched a virtual casting call to find the dream intern.
Now in its second year, the annual programme – ‘Red Letter Days Future’ offers UK graduates the opportunity to work at the industry leading company for a period of 3 months (October – December 2011) and a rare ‘entrepreneurship meeting’ with the two Dragons themselves.
Graduates are invited to apply for the paid internship via the company’s Facebook page or Youtube channel, outlining why they should be chosen. One student will be chosen in late September, to begin working at Red Letter Days on Monday 3rd October, 2011.
Alana Hutton-Shaw, who completed the internship last year, said: “Whilst many of my friends spent their internships glued to the photocopier, I gained a comprehensive business education – making sales, conceiving and assisting on marketing campaigns as well as working across almost every department. This is an exceptional opportunity for any graduate willing to push the boundaries and make a name for themselves. The opportunity to meet Peter & Theo was also the only ‘once in a lifetime’ experience that Red Letter Days don’t offer to everyone!” Alana is set to join L’Oreal in September 2011.

“With the continued rise in unemployment amongst graduates, this internship enables us to tap into all the amazing talent coming out of the country’s universities,” says Peter Jones, joint-owner of Red Letter Days. “Red Letter Days Future gives the chosen graduate invaluable industry experience in a company filled with entrepreneurial spirit and an immediate leg up on attacking the very competitive UK job market,” Paphitis continues.
