Clear Channel International (CCI), the outdoor advertising company, has appointed Richard Eastmond to the newly created role of HR director.
Reporting to president and chief executive William Eccleshare, Eastmond will be responsible for all aspects of CCI’s HR development and will sit on its executive committee.
Eastmond has more than 20 years’ HR experience, most recently as international HR director at US television giant CBS Corporation/CBS Outdoor.
Prior to joining CBS, he held two divisional HR leadership roles within Personnel Today parent company Reed Elsevier, initially as international HR director at Reed Educational & Professional Publishing and latterly as international HR director at LexisNexis Europe, Canada, Latin America and Africa.
Eastmond started his career in the print manufacturing sector with BPC (now Polestar), undertaking a range of divisional HR leadership roles.
“I am very much looking forward to working with William and the executive committee to leverage international standards, share best practice and optimise economies of scale across our business,” he said.
