Online information resource XpertHR – part of the Personnel Today portfolio – has won two major accolades in the prestigious Association of Online Publishers awards 2004.
It beat off competition from websites designed for business professionals, including Mediaguardian.co.uk and Totaljobs.com, to be named business product of the year.
“XpertHR is an incredibly comprehensive and well constructed resource for the HR community,” judges said. “The site is commercially creative and valued by its users.”
Naming XpertHR’s David Shep-herd as editor of the year, the judges said: “Personality matters in a great editor, and Shepherd’s personality shines through in XpertHR and the progress it has made in the past 12 months. Shepherd has been proactive, innovative and commercially aware.”
Rounding off a triumphant night for Reed Business Informat-ion, which publishes XpertHR and Personnel Today, the company was named online business publisher of the year.
