The Government has linked up with trade union Amicus to launch what has been
billed as the world’s largest project to stamp out bullying and discrimination
in the workplace.
Amicus, with the backing of the Department of Trade and Industry, will work
with employers to develop practical guidance on tackling bullying.
The £1.8m project will help train employees as counsellors and bullying
investigators, devise and promote a voluntary charter on ‘dignity at work’,
produce a benchmarking tool and publish a ‘ban bullying’ pack.
