Enron chief charged with fraud

The
former boss of scandal hit firm Enron has been charged in the US with fraud,
insider trading and lying about the company’s financial situation.

Jeffrey
Skilling is the highest ranking executive to be indicted so far, has been
issued with 35 separate charges after giving himself up to the FBI.

Skilling
has insisted he is innocent and his legal team claims he is being made a
scapegoat.
