Almost
two-thirds of HR professionals believe employees fear that taking benefits will
hinder their career prospects.
A
new report by business information provider Croner, found that 61 per cent of
HR practitioners believe perks such as flexible working, ‘duvet’ days and
teleworking are on the increase – but staff are too worried about future
prospects to take advantage of them.
The
online poll of 13,679 HR professionals found just 27 per cent felt that staff
were happy to take up these types of benefits without fear of harming their
prospects.
