Employees
under the age of 30 are more committed to their employer than their older
colleagues.
A
Watson Wyatt poll of more than 7,500 US-based workers reveals almost 60 per
cent of workers under 30 are committed to their firm, compared to just over
half of those over 30.
Staff
commitment is also higher in the boardroom than on the shopfloor, according to
the study.
Three-quarters
of executives are committed to their company, compared to six out of 10 middle
managers, line managers and professional/technical staff.
