MoD targets other civil servants with recruitment website

A
Ministry of Defence (MoD) recruitment website providing details of all job
vacancies, schemes and programmes available within the department are now
available online to all civil servants.

Visitors
to the site can search 80 different career paths, and can take the opportunity
to join the recruitment database where updates on the latest vacancies are
emailed.

The
website also includes the Job Club, which allows users to contact MoD staff to
obtain a better understanding of employment in the MoD.

Current
MoD employees can use the site to help with career development, particularly
for information on training courses and Management Development programmes.

Under
Secretary of State for Defence, Lewis Moonie said:  "This is an exciting new initiative which should provide a
real boost to recruitment in the MoD."
