Talent and career management consultancy Right Management has appointed Tony Thornell as Head of Public Sector.
Right Management is the talent and career management expert within Manpower, the global leader in employment services and already holds major contacts with a number of Government Departments, Local Authorities, NHS Trusts and other public service providers.
Commenting on the appointment, Right Management’s Managing Director Jayne Carrington, said: “We are delighted to have Tony in this new dedicated role to drive awareness of Right Management’s expertise in the sector. Our strategic and practical approach has been helping public sector organisations manage talent for 30 years.”

On his appointment, Thornell said: “We recognise that this year is going to be a critical time for the public sector; lateral thought is going to be required to tackle the challenges ahead. Thornell has been with Right Management for 16 years and has held various director level appointments within the company. Previous to this, Thornell worked as a sales and marketing manager at Thorn EMI which followed 14 years as a commissioned officer in the British Army.
