Organisational values failing to impress staff

Scepticism
surrounds organisational values, according to The Management Agenda 2001
report.

Of
the organisations questioned, 71 per cent say that the organisation has
espoused values, but nearly two-thirds of respondents, 60 per cent, say that
the company’s espoused values do not match the actual values of the
organisation. Just less than half, 45 per cent, say managers do not want to
talk to employees.
