HR-related courses: BA (Hons) in human resources management which can be combined with other subjects for a joint degree, eg HRM and Computing, HRM and Marketing, HRM and Business. Hull and Lincoln offers Postgraduate Certificate/ Diploma/ MSc in Human Resource Management/Development. This is a part-time course. Students can opt to exit the course with a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM or HRD and to gain Graduate Membership of the CIPD by successfully completing a 7,000 word management report. If this option is selected, ongoing tutor support for this work will be provided in year three. In addition there will be a one-day workshop on selecting and writing a management report.

College CV: The university has about 9,000 students across five campuses in Hull and Lincoln. HRM will be taught in Lincoln as well as in Hull from 2002. The Faculty of Business & Law is developing an engaged research strategy and is a leading provider of part-time and open learning programmes in business and management.

Entry: 200  A-level points required for entry onto BA (Hons) programme.

Star academics: Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas holds a chair in Direction and Leadership and has produced several CIPD publications.

Alumni: There is an active alumni network.
