An independent charity which works to improve rights and services for all
pregnant women, new mothers and their families. Provides expert information and
specialist legal advice on aspects of maternity rights and benefits. Excellent,
clear and easy to use, it should be the first port of call for anyone returning
to work after giving birth. Has information on its recent campaigns and
research plus an excellent page of links to other related sites.

Provides support to mums and pregnant women who are lonely or isolated after
the birth of a baby or are moving to a new area. Originally set up to help
those suffering from postnatal depression, it also includes anyone wanting to
meet other new mums in their area. Also supports mothers and families through
postnatal illness with a specialist helpline.
