Pensions: check your contracts, firms warned

Employers
are advised to check their contracts of employment and pension scheme
documentation in the light of last week’s House of Lords ruling on part-time
workers and pensions.

in PersonnelToday.com’s legal features area, Wragge & Co employment partner
Jonathan Chamberlain warns that some employers may inadvertently have made
pension scheme membership part of the employment contract. The results could be
costly.
