The
Government needs to address how it can employ more disabled people in its own
workforce, Prime Minister Tony Blair says today in an exclusive article for
Personnel Today.
As he
launches a major Disability Rights Commission campaign this week, the Prime
Minister threw down a challenge to HR managers.

He said
they must work with government to convince firms that employing disabled people
can benefit business performance.
“Although
there have been advances – including in my own office – government as a whole
is still behind where we should be.”
