Conservative Party Conference: David Cameron speech covered live

We will be covering David Cameron’s keynote speech to the Conservative Party Conference live from 2pm on Thursday, 8 October, with the help of three leading employment panelists.

Industry figures David Yeandle, head of employment policy at employers’ group the EEF; Stephen Overell, associate director at the Work Foundation; and Jim Hillage, associate director at the Institute for Employment Studies, will join Personnel Today to comment on employment-related news as it is announced by the Tory party leader.

Employment news looks set to take centre stage at this year’s Conservative Party conference, with shadow ministers today outlining a new welfare reform programme to replace the government’s New Deal and Train to Gain schemes.
