Attracting a lot of attention at the recent e-Learning London Show was
Logicom and British Gas’ innovative Real World Environment training programme,
designed for service engineers.
The programme aims to enhance the skill levels of British Gas engineers and
Modern Apprentices, and does so by utilising 3D sound, video and animation to
simulate a service engineer home visit.
The technology behind it, which lets learners interact with objects within
the environment, is based on one of the world’s most successful PC-based games
engines.
