Absence management is still the single most challenging health and safety
issue facing the HR profession.
Around two-thirds of respondents in the IRS HR Prospects survey, which
covers 432 organisations, employing more than 2.5 million people, cite sickness
absence management as a priority.
Absence was ranked in the top three most challenging health and safety
issues faced by HR last year.
