AllAboutCareers.com, the social careers website for students aged 16-24 and The Bright Futures Society, a fast growing network of over 40 UK university student societies, through which students take responsibility for their own employability, are to partner online and on campus in what is the first official online/on-campus initiative in this space.
AllAboutCareers will provide in depth careers content for the Bright Futures Society website and support them by targeting relevant & career focused students on the AllAboutCareers website, inviting them to attend employer events organised & run by The Bright Futures Societies. Events will be held on campus throughout the academic year and this will mean more students benefiting from face to face interaction with employers.
Bright Futures will then be providing AllAboutCareers with a permanent presence on campus, a first for an online careers information site, utilising the huge visibility that comes from the 40 Universities that have Bright Futures Societies.
Simon Reichwald, Director of Bright Futures, remarked: “Students use the web to find useful information on companies but increasingly the best talent want more insight & face to face time with organisations. This partnership ensures we can now deliver on both these needs for students. The Bright Futures Society exists to help undergraduates grow their skills & make more informed career decisions plus help employers spot the best talent – our partnership with AllAboutCareers further strengthens this capability.”
Paul Harris, Director at AllAboutCareers said “it’s important to inform students of what options are out there in as many ways as possible. This partnership will ensure students are better informed and will give AllAboutCareers a huge amount of exposure on campus in front of some of the most savvy students in the UK.”
