Firefighters
are angry a planned 24-hour strike on Thursday has been cancelled by their
union.
According
to BBC Online, firefighter delegates at the Fire Bridge Union (FBU) conference
in Brighton are unhappy their union has backed down.

The
FBU called off the strike in a bid to prevent a public relations disaster, as
the strike looked set to clash with possible military action in the Gulf.
