Thorbjorg Helga (Tobba) Vigfusdottir is the CEO and founder of Kara Connect, a mental health and wellbeing platform that is currently working with organisations such as the KPMG, Deloitte and the Law Society of Scotland, to offer over 3,000 qualified mental health specialists to provide a meaningful level of therapist-led support to staff members. Tobba holds an M.Ed in Educational Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA and a B.Ed. from the University of Iceland, which focused on cognitive developmental psychology and education. Before establishing Kara Connect, she was a city councillor in Reykjavík for 12 years, a political advisor to the Minister of Education, and a project manager for a women’s entrepreneurial programme at the University of Reykjavík.
