London agency Bernard Hodges has scooped the Best Campaign award at the 2002
Recruitment Advertising Awards (RADS) for its work with Tesco Stores.
In what turned out to be a bumper night for the company, it also collected
wins in Health, Science, Social Care and Charities categories, along with Tesco
and Posters & Direct Mail with ATS Euromaster.
The judges – selected from major blue chip companies and recruitment
agencies – said of the Tesco Stores advertisement: "This is a well-planned
and well-executed campaign. The ads have been beautifully created with real
attention to detail."
It was also a good night for TMP Worldwide, Barkers and Work Communications
which were each twice called to the stage to collect awards at the Grosvenor
House Hotel, Park Lane. The remaining awards were shared between eight other
agencies.
The award for HR & Training went to Barkers for its work with Halfords.

Chair of the judges Paul Stafford said: "Despite the slowdown in the
private sector in the second half of last year, it’s good to see that
creativity – in all forms – remains at the top of the agenda. This year’s
awards reflect continuing high standards across a wide range of media."
