A quick and effective search mechanism makes this the easiest way to find
out about the range of Open University courses available and it also gives students
the opportunity to buy the courses online if they so wish. The OU is home to
one of the best learning materials resources in the UK, with over 2,500 Open
University books, videos, audiocassettes, CD-Roms and study packs available at
the site. Each has a short description and you can click on an
"add-to-basket" icon to buy via the secure server. Search by subject
and type of training (audio, video, print, software etc) or simply browse
through the list of subjects – an excellent FAQ (frequently asked question)
section will help if you get stuck. Also available are stand-alone multimedia
study packs, which let students learn at home at their own pace without the
need for a tutor or assignments and exams.
