by Personnel Today 7 Sep 2005
by Personnel Today 7 Sep 2005

HR-related and specific courses: MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management in partnership with Nottingham Trent University; CIPD Applied Personnel & Development; CIPD People Management & Development; CIPD HR Electives; Diploma in Training and Development (CIPD Trainer Electives); CIPD Leadership and Management; CIPD Certificate in Training Practice; and CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice; CIPD Certificate in Employment Relations, Law & Practice. In addition to open learning programmes, most of these courses have been delivered as in-house corporate programmes in the UK and, indeed overseas.

Founded: 1992, under the name of Malpas Associates after a few years the company gained CIPD approval for running professional education in personnel and training and became Malpas Flexible Learning Ltd. In 2003 BPP Professional Education purchased Malpas Flexible Learning which has now become BPP Malpas, the HR division of the company.

College CV: BPP Malpas, has excelled in the delivery of CIPD programmes for over 15 years and is one of only a few providers to gain internal accreditation status to write its own CIPD professional exams. The BPP Malpas name has become synonymous with best practice customer study support mechanisms and professional tuition. In turn this has led to BPP Malpas being one of the leading UK providers of CIPD qualifications for today’s practitioners who have to juggle work, personal and study commitments. We have supported over 15,000 HR and training practitioners across all sectors through their professional development. The commitment we have to our students is reflected in the high proportion of customers who choose BPP Malpas through personal recommendation. BPP Malpas in the last few years have launched innovative and unique products for the HR market in the form of our Passcards and National Revision workshops designed to guide non BPP Malpas students through their CIPD National Exams.

Star HR academics and practitioners: All of our tutors are HR and / or training professionals / academics that are well respected within their industry. A number of them have also had work published within the HR and training arena.
