million restructuring of its call centres.
Seventy call centres will be reduced to 11 over a three-year
period in an effort to improve efficiency and customer service.
Consignia will invest £7 million in technology, which they
claim will help them track customer queries and improve the service.
The “super centres” will be based in Bristol, Plymouth,
Barnsley, Doxford near Sunderland, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Stoke-on-Trent,
Colchester, Bangor and Belfast.
