Credit
card issuer Capital One has launched a programme to try and prevent staff from
suffering Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
The
company is giving department heads and managers £200 per worker a year to
organise fun activities, survey workers about the physical environment, and
improve office design.
Catherine
Hope, Capital One UK HR director, said: "We regularly conduct employee
surveys to find out how our staff think the working environment – which can
have a huge impact on people’s moods – can be improved.
