The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has spent £3m buying Bridge Partnership – a consultancy firm that specialises in leadership, organisational development and strategic transformation, it was announced today.
The deal to buy Bridge Partnership – which has worked with the CIPD over the past 18 months on projects including the ‘Next Generation HR’ research – was only finalised in the last couple of hours.
Jackie Orme, chief executive of the CIPD, said: “In acquiring Bridge, we’re building the CIPD’s capacity to lead thinking at the most senior levels of the HR profession.
