COA Solutions wins top environmental award

by Personnel Today 3 Mar 2009

UK business management and information systems provider, COA Solutions, has been honoured with a leading environmental award from The Green Organisation – A Green Hero Award.

Presented to COA Solutions by Professor David Bellamy during a ceremony on The Royal Yacht Britannia on Friday 13 February 2009, this Green Hero Award recognises environmental best practice and the company’s commitment to helping others follow its environmental lead.

The presentation of this Green Hero Award follows on from COA Solutions’ eBIS workflow system winning The Green Organisation’s ‘Green Apple Environment Award’ in November 2008.

The Green Organisation is an independent environment group dedicated to promoting the positive side of environmental endeavour.

The organisation launched the Green Apple Awards and subsequently the Green Hero Awards to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice worldwide.

Mark Thompson, Managing Director of COA Solutions, says, “Software can play a vital role in helping organisations to address their environmental agenda.

This is why we have invested time in working alongside customers to deliver solutions that cut paper-use as well as track, measure and help to reduce carbon emissions. We’re delighted that our efforts have been recognised by The Green Organisation.”

COA Solutions’ portfolio of business software solutions incorporates financial management, procurement, human resource, payroll, business intelligence and document management systems.
