A new recruitment plan hopes to improve the image of construction and
encourage more women to work in the industry.
The scheme addresses some of the barriers that can deter women from working
in construction by offering local crèche facilities, flexible working hours and
separate female facilities.
Forum Training, part of the Thomas Vale Construction group, is co-ordinating
the project which involves the renovation of homes belonging to Worcester
Community Housing.
