I agree wholeheartedly with the comments raised in the letter from Paul Good regarding offshored jobs (Personnel Today, 16 January). We all need to take more responsibility for this situation.
We constantly demand better value from service providers while continually expecting costs to be reduced. With employment costs in the UK continuing to rise, it is a simple equation that to work within these constraints, organisations will look to reduce their overheads in any way possible.
