Crow calls on Government to help end Tube strike

RMT
union leader Bob Crow has asked the Government to help stop this week’s tube
strike.

Tube
workers are due to strike for 24 hours from 8pm tomorrow in a dispute over pay,
and unions warn of more strikes after that.

But
Crow said he hopes to urge the Government to persuade London Underground to go
to mediation and reach a settlement.

RMT
and Aslef union leaders say they will meet after the next strike to decide on
further stoppages.
